For the last decade Angie Murie has been working with high-conflict couples post-divorce. As a trained parenting coordinator, she has assisted parents to co-parent in difficult circumstances. Keeping the best interests of the children involved, Angie works with parents and existing court orders to decrease conflict and increase communication.
Additionally, Angie has created a co-parenting counselling program to assist parents who are separating with creating a parenting plan as they learn new ways to communicate, problem solve, and manage their conflicts.
Her experience in the realm of social work includes managing a counselling centre for women who were abused, working with street youth, providing individual counselling and being the Executive Director of two agencies.
Currently she splits her time between her private practice, working predominantly with high-conflict couples, and teaching at various universities in Ontario.
